HaKolJewish Community Choir
Where harmonies come alive and community finds its voice through the transformative power of choral music.
Our Story
HaKol was started in August of 2024 as a group of singers who loved to sing 4-part Jewish music. A number of the initial members had enjoyed the experience of singing with Josh Fishbein, who brought his talents as a singer, a pianist, a conductor, and a composer to this new fledgling group. Our first singing sessions were in members' homes. But as we grew too large for a living room, we were able to move to the EDCJCC. We made our debut on the first night of Hanukkah in 2025.
Through community outreach, we have tripled in size and we have attracted a more diverse group of singers. We continue to sing challenging but beautiful and fun music and to enrich the Jewish community.
